"Napoli" won the Italian Super Cup after a penalty shootout.

Today in the capital of Qatar, there was a battle for the Italian Super Cup, where the last season's "Serie A" champion Turin's "Juventus" met the team that won the cup, "Napoli".

Massimiliano Allegri's players were undisputed favorites and took the lead in the fifth minute, when Carlos Tevez, facing the goalkeeper, sent the ball cold-bloodedly into the goal.

Throughout the game, it was a tight battle and, to the joy of Napoli's players and fans, in the middle of the second half, Tevez's teammate in the Argentinian national team, Gonzalo Higuain, managed to equalize the score. The striker scored with a header after a pass from Jonathan De Guzman.

During regular time, both teams failed to score more goals and the match had to be decided in extra time.

In the first half of extra time, the precise shots were missing for the fans gathered at the "Al-Sadd" stadium, but just at the beginning of the second half, Tevez scored his second goal. Nevertheless, led by Rafa Benitez, the team did not give up and near the end of extra time, Higuain scored accurately for the second time.

After taking eleven-meter penalties, the teams reached a score of 2-2 between the two Argentinian strikers. However, the first to take a penalty for "Juve," Tevez, failed to take advantage of the opportunity to put his team ahead after the first penalty, as Jorginho before him also failed to convert his own.

Then the teams exchanged five goals, and the last shots were taken by defenders Walter Gargano and Leonardo Bonucci. The series of successful penalties was interrupted by Napoli's defender Dries Mertens, whose shot was saved by Gianluigi Buffon.

However, the cup was not allowed to be brought to Turin by Napoli's goalkeeper Rafael, who denied Giorgio Chiellini's very poor attempt. After that, Buffon saved the goal again for "bianconeri," forcing Jose Callejon to grab at his head, but the winner was also not clear, as Roberto Pereyra's shot flew over the goal.

Finally, defender Kalidou Koulibaly managed to score, and Rafael, stopping Simone Padoin's shot, brought an unexpected and incredible victory to Rafa Benitez's players.
