During the Nations League match held on Friday evening in Group A of Division 3, Italy defeated England 1-0 in front of their fans and maintained their chances of reaching the semi-finals of the tournament. In the first half of the match, there were not many dangerous moments and both teams left the field with the scoreboard still showing zeros. In the second half, both teams had opportunities to score. However, in the 68th minute, Giacomo Raspadori managed to score the only goal of the match by sending the ball into the bottom corner of the goal. After the match, Italy kept their chances of reaching the semi-finals of the Nations League, but in the last group matches, they will need to beat Hungary, who are currently in the first place, at all costs.
