NATO selection: Spanish point of victory and Italian show in Liechtenstein

On Tuesday, the 8th round of the European Championship qualifying groups ended in the Old Continent.

The national team of Spain achieved a valuable draw in the away game. The Spaniards, coached by Roberto Moreno, managed to equalize the result at the end of the match, securing their place in next year's European Championship.

In this duel, the Spanish national team had to avoid defeat, as they were only one point away from securing a ticket to the main tournament.

In the 50th minute, Marcus Berg saddened the Spaniards, managing to score even after two heroic episodes of David de Gea.

In the 92nd minute, Rodrigo saved the Spanish national team, sending the ball into Robin Olsen's goal after a pass from Fabian Ruiz, when there was complete chaos in the penalty area.

In other matches in this group, Norway also equalized against Romania at the end of the match. The Swedes are in second place with 15 points, while the Romanians have 14 points.

Italy, who had already secured a spot in the tournament, organized a true goal feast for the guests. Roberto Mancini's players did not leave any chances for the Liechtenstein national team, winning 5-0.

Federico Bernardeschi, Alessio Romagnoli, Stephan El Shaarawy, and Andrea Belotti, who scored twice, were the goalscorers for the winners.

The remaining matches ended with victories for the national teams of Finland, the Faroe Islands, Georgia, Greece, Israel, and Switzerland.
