Former London Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has received a warning for improper physical shape.
Wolfsburg team leaders and head coach Dieter Hecking are not satisfied with the Dane's attitude towards work. The team's head coach told the media that N. Bendtner is significantly behind his teammates and if he cannot catch up with them, he will not make it to the first team.
The team's sports director Klaus Allofs seconded the coach: "If anyone wants to play for us, they must do what the club wants from them. If they don't want to do that - there will be no place in the team."
N. Bendtner is only the third choice in the attacking line for the team, behind newcomer Max Kruse and last season's top scorer Bas Dost.
N. Bendtner has scored only one goal in 18 matches representing Wolfsburg.
