Negotiations over: D. de Gea will continue to wear "Man Utd" shirts for at least four more years.

"Manchester United" fans can finally open the champagne bottle - David de Gea officially put his signature on a new contract with the club.

Years of rumors about his future end today - the 28-year-old goalkeeper will wear the "red devils" jersey for at least another four years.

His previous contract was set to expire next summer, but the current contract will be valid until 2023. The contract also includes an option to extend the partnership for another season.

"I feel very privileged to have spent eight years in this club. Now I have the opportunity to continue my career here, and I am very proud of that", said D. de Gea.

"Before coming here, I could not have imagined playing more than 350 games for this club. My future is settled, so all I want now is to help the team achieve its goals - to win titles again", added the goalkeeper.

D. de Gea joined "Man Utd" in 2011 - he was bought from Madrid's "Atletico" club for 19 million pounds.

This is his home. @D_DeGea #MUFC
