The renewed Lithuanian national team welcomes a new cycle. Already on March 24, in the match against the Kosovo national team, the national team will step onto the field in specially designed "Hummel" attire created for the Lithuanian team.
"The Lithuanian national team is embarking on a new challenge - the FIFA World Cup qualifiers. We decided to welcome this stage with new outfits. We really wanted to present these outfits to the football community in a live event, but considering the current pandemic situation, we chose to do it in a virtual space. We have been working on this project for several months to ensure that the attire is stylish, modern, and complements our revamped team logo - the modernized Vyčius. We hope that fans will like the attire and will have the opportunity to wear them when they can attend matches at the stadium," said LFF General Secretary Edgaras Stankevičius.
The team's attire was created based on the "Hummel" LEAD collection and the colors of the Lithuanian national flag. The LEAD style was inspired by the perspective of daily activities, when you can switch from leisure to active sports in a moment. The idea of the collection is to incorporate everyday trendy elements into classic team sports designs. In creating the new collection, important technical decisions were made to meet the needs of high-performance athletes - lightweight material and moisture management technology, ensuring excellent functionality and comfort on the field.
The Lithuanian national team will debut their new outfits on March 24, when they face the Kosovo team in a friendly match. The match will be broadcast live on LRT Plius starting at 21:30.
