Next season, a novelty will be introduced in the "Premier" league.

Today it was officially announced that clubs agreed to implement the "semi-automatic" offside rule fixing.

According to the organizers of the championship, this technology will ensure faster and more consistent placement of the virtual offside line, based on optical player tracking, and will create high-quality broadcast graphics to provide fans with clearer information.

This will not be a sensation in the football world - the same innovation is used by UEFA Champions League, "Serie A" and some major FIFA tournaments.

Currently, in the "Premier" league, VAR referees check offsides using "Hawk-Eye", but the system has received serious criticism for errors and the time required to make a decision.
