"Newcastle" and "Man City" teams, exchanging impressive goals, ended in a draw

First 14th round matches were played in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The chances of fighting for the title this season were further reduced by the "Manchester City" team, who played away and drew against "Newcastle United" - a 2-2 draw.

Pep Guardiola's players had the lead twice in these matches, but "Newcastle" equalized shortly after.

In the 22nd minute, Raheem Sterling put the visitors in front, but just three minutes later Jetro Willems equalized.

The same thing happened in the second half, when in the 82nd minute, Kevin De Bruyne scored what seemed like a winning goal with a fantastic shot from about 18 meters, leaving no chances for the opponents' goalkeeper.

However, in the 88th minute, Jonjo Shelvey responded with an equally impressive goal - skillfully heading the ball into the left corner of the "Man City" goal after a set piece situation.

"Man City" could not find a response to this goal and had to settle for a disappointing draw.

If "Liverpool" wins their match, "Man City's" deficit could grow up to 11 points.

Result:

"Newcastle" 2 - 2 "Man City" 22' [0 - 1] R. Sterling 25' [1 - 1] J. Willems 82' [1 - 2] K. De Bruyne 88' [2 - 2] J. Shelvey
