“Newcastle United” after a 26-year break could return to the Champions League.
On Thursday evening, “Magpies” took another very big step, defeating “Brighton” footballers 4:1 at home.
After the first half, “Newcastle” led deservedly 2:0, thanks to a goal by Dan Burn and an own goal by Deniz Undav. The striker scored in his own net.
However, at the beginning of the second half, D. Undav scored already for the “Brighton” team and reduced the score.
In the very end of the match, goals by Callum Wilson and Bruno Guimaraes secured the victory.
In the match against “Leicester City”, Eddie Howe's team could secure a place in the Champions League next season.
