In the Sunday evening „Premier“ league match „Newcastle United“ defeated „Wolves“ at home with a score of 2:1.
The first goal of the match came in the 26th minute. After a pass from Kieran Trippier, Alexander Isak scored with a header from a set piece, beating the visitors' goalkeeper.
„Wolves“ managed to equalize in the 68th minute of the match. Hwang Hee-Chan scored from the penalty spot after winning their opportunity.
However, „Magpies“ scored the winning goal in the 79th minute. Miguel Almiron, who came on as a substitute, sent the ball into the goal.
„Newcastle“ ended a streak of five consecutive winless matches in the „Premier“ league and currently sits in fifth place in the table. Meanwhile, „Wolves“ are content with thirteenth place.
