“Newcastle United” team is eyeing a potential newcomer from the Italian league.
“Calcio Mercato” reports that representatives of the Premier League wanted to acquire Turin “Juventus” goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
It is said that the English will make an offer next summer, as the 32-year-old Pole's contract is slowly approaching its end.
“Juventus” is not planning to offer a new contract to the experienced footballer, and the current agreement between both parties is valid until the summer of 2024.
W. Szczesny has been defending the colors of the “Old Lady” team since 2017.
