The club has a new coach - as expected, it is Alan Pardew, who has signed a contract for five and a half years.
The specialist, whose services were rejected by the "Southampton" team from the third league in August, will replace the dismissed Chris Hughton.
"I feel honored to stand at the wheel of such a club," said Pardew. "I promise to be devoted to my work and with great enthusiasm I will strive for better results."
In the English championship, "Newcastle" currently holds 12th place.
