"Newcastle" dealt an unexpected blow to London’s "Arsenal" team.

In the first match of the English League Cup ("Carabao Cup"), "Newcastle" defeated the "Arsenal" players 2-0 away.

The "Gunners" had plenty of good chances throughout the match but ultimately ended up without scoring, and the defense was not as solid.

Alexander Isak scored in the 37th minute, and Anthony Gordon doubled the score in the 51st minute.

The return match will take place in almost a month at "St. James Park".
