The second round of the English League Cup („Carabao Cup“) ended with four matches. „Newcastle United“ defeated „Tranmere Rovers“ 2:1 away with goals from Chris Wood and Jamaal Lascelles. „Brighton“ also played away, beating „Forest Green Rovers“ 3:0.
