British billionaire Mike Ashley is planning to say goodbye to the "Newcastle United" club.
According to the BBC, the billionaire has already found buyers for the team - a consortium including the US company "Rockefeller Capital Management", led by football celebrity Peter Kenyon.
M. Ashley hopes to receive 300 million pounds sterling for "Newcastle United", as he had rejected a 50 million pound lower sum last year.
The founder of the "Sport Direct" store chain acquired the team in 2007 for 134 million pounds sterling.
Currently, the club managed by Rafa Benitez is in 14th place in the "Premier" league.
