"Newcastle United" owners PIF (Public Investment Fund) have another ambitious goal.
According to "Repubblica" newspaper, PIF wants to acquire one of the biggest Italian clubs - "AS Roma".
The deal could be worth around 800 million pounds, adds the Italian newspaper.
The current owners of "Newcastle United" are among the wealthiest people in Saudi Arabia. They are key investors in the current football development in Saudi Arabia.
"AS Roma" has many issues with financial fair play rules, so there would be logic in such a deal.
