“Newcastle United” club has reached a verbal agreement to acquire James Trafford.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper played last season for “Burnley” club and in total played 28 matches.

J. Trafford is the main candidate for the goalkeeper position in the “Magpies” squad.

“Newcastle” club will offer “Burnley” 15 million euros plus add-ons for this player, taking into account the goalkeeper's performances.

“Manchester City” club will receive 20% of his sale, as he previously belonged to the “Cityzens”.

Currently, the main goalkeeper of the “Newcastle United” team is Nick Pope.
