„Newcastle United“ is approaching their third purchase in the transfer window. Journalist Fabrizio Romano announces that „Newcastle“ has reached an agreement with „Lille“ for the acquisition of center-back Sven Botman. F. Romano adds that the transfer fee is expected to be 37 million euros, including bonuses. S. Botman was a key part of „Lille“ team that won the „Ligue 1“ championship, and last season the 22-year-old defender scored 3 goals and provided 1 assist. Dutchman was also sought after by „AC Milan“ club, which ultimately did not reach an agreement with the „Lille“ team.
