Will the "Liverpool" footballers defend the title of English champions? Which clubs will make it to the first quartet guaranteeing tickets to the UEFA Champions League? Will the famous London "Arsenal" and "Tottenham Hotspur" clubs bounce back after a poor previous season? Which three teams will drop to a lower league? In the new English Premier League season, which will start this Saturday, September 12th, there will be no shortage of intrigues. Compared to the previous championship, three new clubs will test their strength - Leeds United, West Bromwich Albion, and Fulham from London, moving up from the Championship. Leeds United is returning to the elite league after a 16-year break, West Bromwich after two years, and London after one. These teams will replace the teams that dropped to a lower league - Bournemouth, Watford, and Norwich City. The English Premier League will continue to feature 20 clubs. The championship is planned to end on May 23, 2021. "Liverpool" will defend the title of the winner. Last season, "Manchester City" took second place, "Manchester United" third, and "Chelsea" from London fourth. In the English championship (since 1888), "Manchester United" has triumphed the most times - 20. "Liverpool" has won it 19 times, "Arsenal" 13 times, Liverpool's "Everton" 9 times, Birmingham's "Aston Villa" 7 times, "Manchester City," "Chelsea," and "Sunderland" 6 times each. In the first matches of the championship on Saturday, "Liverpool" will face "Leeds United" at home. The other debutant, "Fulham," will host "Arsenal" in the London derby. The latter team experienced a fiasco last season and only finished in eighth place. The third debutant, "West Bromwich Albion," will host the 2016 champion "Leicester City" at their stadium on Sunday, who finished fifth last season. In the 2019-2020 championship, the only remaining "Tottenham Hotspur" club will host the "Everton" footballers at home on Sunday. "Chelsea" will compete against "Brighton" on Monday. For football fans, the "TV3 Sport" channels and the new generation television "Go3" will broadcast over 200 matches live this season, if unforeseen circumstances do not occur in the world. The schedule for the first round of matches, which will include four games, is as follows: September 12, 14:20 - "Fulham" vs. "Arsenal," 16:50 - "Crystal Palace" vs. "Southampton," 19:20 - "Liverpool" vs. "Leeds United"; September 13, 15:50 - "West Bromwich Albion" vs. "Leicester City," 18:20 - "Tottenham Hotspur" vs. "Everton"; September 14, 21:50 - "Brighton" vs. "Chelsea".
