Newcomers "Wolves" failed to defeat "Everton" who played with ten men (VIDEO)

On Saturday, the sixth round of the new English Premier League season took place.

In their league debut, "Wolves" hosted Liverpool's "Everton" at home. In a competitive battle, the winner was not determined - led by Richarlison, the "Toffees" managed to reach a draw with ten men.

In the 17th minute, Richarlison punished the opponents after a set-piece. "Everton" held their ground relatively well after the first goal, but Phil Jagielka's careless play cost the team a red card and played with ten men.

Near the penalty area, P. Jagielka committed a foul not only resulting in his removal from the field but also allowing the opponents to equalize - Ruben Neves converted the penalty.

In the second half, the "Toffees" struggled to progress even with one player less - Richarlison, combining well with Cenk Tosun, scored his second goal into the host's net.

"Everton" tried to resist, but R. Neves assisted by scoring a fantastic pass into the penalty area in the 80th minute, where Raul Jimenez equalized.

During the remaining time, the "Toffees" had a perfect opportunity to regain the lead, but the match ended with a 2-2 result.

This was the first draw of the season.
