The plan of English clubs to have 5 clubs in the UEFA Champions League next season failed. Their positions in the UEFA coefficient were taken over by German clubs, which will have five clubs in the Champions League next year.
After Borussia Dortmund's victory against PSG, German clubs secured at least second place in the coefficient table.
Thus, "Stuttgart" secured their place in the Champions League, returning after 14 years.
"RB Leipzig" also secured their place, and "Borussia" took full advantage, currently fifth in the Bundesliga.
However, if BVB wins the Champions League, then next season in the most powerful European football tournament, 6 German teams will play. "Eintracht" could potentially be in that 6th position.
