It has been officially announced that the 27-year-old Brazilian received a strict punishment for hitting a fan of the "Rennes" club.
The incident occurred during the French Cup final when PSG players who lost climbed to receive their silver medals.
Neymar lost his temper and tapped the rival fan sitting in the stands.
The French Football Federation announced that the player has been given a three-match suspension - it will take effect on Monday.
This means that the sniper will still have a chance to play in Saturday's match against "Angers", but he will not be able to play against "Dijon" and "Reims". Neymar will also have to miss the first match of the new season.
It was previously announced that the Brazilian also received a three-match suspension in the UEFA Champions League tournament.
