Neymar believes that it is already time for the "Barcelona" club to start serious negotiations regarding the contract with Lionel Messi.
The 29-year-old striker is committed to the Catalans only until 2018, and the details of a new contract have not yet been agreed upon.
According to reports, the five-time "Ballon d'Or" winner has already rejected an offer that would earn him between 30 million and 35 million euros per season.
"I have been here with Leo for four years and I learn every day: how to strike the ball, how to focus during matches... Messi is from another planet," Neymar told beIN Sports.
"He is perfect and a friend with whom I am lucky to be able to train every day."
"I hope he extends (the contract), and that people at 'Barca' will work so that Leo can continue to be with us."
