Neymar talks about the consequences of injuries: "I cried for two days"

Brazilian football and "Paris Saint-Germain" club star Neymar, 27, just can't seem to shake off injuries that constantly plague the footballer, reports lrytas.lt.

When his represented club was playing in important UEFA Champions League matches against "Manchester United", the footballer couldn't help as he was still recovering from a right foot injury.

Neymar injured his foot at the end of January during the French Cup match against "Strasbourg". The footballer was diagnosed with a fifth metatarsal bone fracture. Fortunately, the club representatives, after consulting with doctors, decided that Neymar wouldn't need surgery and the treatment process would be natural.

Although he managed to avoid surgery this time, the athlete admitted on a Brazilian TV show that this time the injury was a much bigger blow to him psychologically than before.

"Accepting it this time was very difficult. I cried at home for two days. When I got injured for the first time, I just told myself that I would have surgery and everything would be fixed very quickly. I wasn't as sad back then. But now everything is different," he said.

After experiencing an injury last year, Neymar was sidelined for more than three months and only managed to return for the World Cup to help the Brazilian national team.

After the injury he suffered in January this year, the prognosis was already a bit slower. In total, he will have to spend ten weeks off the football field.
