The brightest star of the Brazilian national team Neymar asked for time for the team to get in good athletic shape and adapt to the new coach.
In the summer World Cup, the Brazilians experienced a fiasco when they were crushed by the Germans in the semi-finals by a score of 7-1. After the unsuccessful tournament, the country's football federation decided to dismiss Luiz Felipe Scolari, and Dunga took his place.
"It's hard to change everything when we only had one week of training and one game," said the Barcelona striker.
"We need to adapt to the new coach. We listen to what he asks of us and try to improve our athletic form," said Neymar.
Brazil played friendly matches against Colombia under Dunga's leadership. Neymar was the only one to score a goal for the Brazilians.
