Neymar wants to extend contract with "Barcelona"

At the time when Madrid newspapers compete with each other by announcing news about "Real" trying to outbid Neymar from the "Barcelona" club, the Brazilian himself speaks differently to journalists - he intends to sign a new contract with the Catalonian team.

The footballer, who has been performing excellently lately, once again found himself in a whirlwind of rumors: allegedly both Manchester clubs are actively interested in him, and this weekend Madrid "Real" also joined the line of "potential buyers".

The Spanish capital team, after receiving a thrashing in "El Clasico" at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium against "Barcos", played the Champions League match against Donetsk's "Shakhtar" not very convincingly, so the arrows of criticism from fans are increasingly aimed at the team's president, Florentino Perez.

However, Neymar himself dismissed the rumors about his departure.

"My father has already talked to representatives of 'Barcelona' about the new contract. I still have a valid contract, but I want to sign a new contract and it will happen because that is my goal," Neymar told journalists after another impressive match against "Real Sociedad".

Having scored 16 goals in the last 17 matches, the Brazilian once again confirmed that his relationship on and off the field with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez is ideal.

"I am happy with everything I do for the team's victory. Yes, it's true that in the match against 'Real Sociedad' I wanted Leo to score a goal, so I gave him a pass. I am happy when goals are scored by L. Messi and Luis Suarez and I know they are happy when I score as well," Neymar stated.
