Neymar, giving an interview to Brazilian television, revealed what kind of help Lionel Messi provided him in his first year at Barcelona.
The Brazilian football star no longer has L. Messi by his side - Neymar now plays for PSG. He spoke about the Argentine only in the best words.
"Now I tell everyone that when I needed help the most, the best footballer on the planet (Messi) always showed his concern," said the Brazilian.
Hypothetically asked if L. Messi could organize his return to Barcelona, Neymar replied: "It's complicated. To be honest, it's very complicated, but Leo has always been a special friend at Barcelona."
Neymar also revealed the message he received from L. Messi when he joined the Catalan club: "I'm here to help you. Never hesitate and ask for what you need."
The 27-year-old Neymar played 186 matches and scored 105 goals in four seasons at Barcelona.
