The footballer was in a match against Marseille fighting for the ball and awkwardly twisted his leg, injuring his ankle. Neymar was taken off on a stretcher and it was visible that the PSG star was in pain and tears.
However, doctors confirmed that Neymar's injury is not very serious. The player avoided a fracture or a severe muscle strain. Nevertheless, it remains unclear whether Neymar will recover in time for the second leg match against Real Madrid on March 6.
PSG will need Neymar to recover after a 1-3 defeat.
