Brazil's national team leader Neymar will no longer play in the "Copa America" tournament. The footballer was disqualified for a total of four matches.
On Wednesday, Brazil lost 0-1 to Colombia. Brazil's striker kicked the ball at Pablo Armero and was subsequently expelled from the field. Prior to that, the referee showed a red card to the Colombian player Carlos Bacca.
The South American Football Federation reviewed the match footage and decided to disqualify Neymar for another four matches - until the end of the tournament.
C. Bacca was disqualified for two matches. Both players have the right to appeal the decision.
