"Barcelona" president Josep Maria Bartomeu reassured the club's fans and confirmed that Neymar will sign a new contract in the near future.
In recent days, the Brazilian was linked with "Paris Saint-Germain" and "Manchester United", but ultimately those teams will be disappointed.
The forward, who arrived in Catalonia from "Santos" in 2013, will tie his future with "Barca" for another five years.
"Neymar wants to stay here. In the next few days, we will extend his contract," Bartomeu said at a press conference.
"Neymar has no intention of leaving Barcelona. I don't know if it will happen tomorrow or the day after (the contract will be signed - ed. note), but Neymar will play here for another five seasons. It is normal for other clubs to be interested in him."
"I will say it clearly - Neymar has never mentioned that he wants to leave. The club and Neymar's lawyers will finalize the last details, and I hope that it will be done in the next few days."
The release clause for the 24-year-old star will increase to 230 million euros, which is likely to deter even the richest clubs in the world.
