Brazilian national football team star Neymar has decided that football is not enough for him - he promises to test himself in the music field. The footballer will soon start a singing career. He announced this on the social network Twitter.
"People, I am starting a music career. I will record my first song on Wednesday. So, I will start singing on stage," wrote Neymar.
Brazilian football star Neymar has been playing for the Barcelona team since 2013. Last season, the 24-year-old Brazilian scored 31 goals in 48 matches. Just after the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, Neymar was named captain of the Brazilian national team and won gold medals.
He is not the first Brazilian football player to decide to try his hand in the show business.
Just before the Rio Olympics, another Brazilian football star - Pele - created and recorded a song about the Olympics.
"I came up with a song, wrote it, and sang it. It is called 'Hope' and is dedicated to the Rio Olympics," commented the famous former footballer.
At 75, Pele is no stranger to the music world. In 1969, he recorded 16 songs with Brazilian singer Elis Regina and released a joint album "Elis Regina & Pele - Tabelinha."
In 2014, Pele expressed his desire to sing with the group One Direction - he is a big fan of the famous band.
