Neymar's father angry at PSG: "They knew very well that Neymar would not participate in training"

Neymar's father claims that Paris Saint-Germain wrongly accused his son, as the club officials themselves knew that the footballer would not return to training this week.

On Monday, there was a real commotion in the media when PSG released an official statement that Neymar missed the first team training session. The message noted that PSG would take appropriate measures, considering that the player would likely face sanctions.

However, Neymar's father, in communication with the Brazilian media, claims that they did not return to Paris due to commercial events scheduled for this week.

"We had to perform commercial and institutional actions, which our team has been doing for the past five years. Every year, this is simply a mandatory thing," Neymar's father clarified to "Fox Sports."

"PSG, including the club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has been involved in these actions. I do not understand why we ended up in this situation. We are upset because PSG knew everything," stated Neymar Santos senior.
