Neymar's punishment softened in the Champions League tournament

The star of Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar, will be able to play in the UEFA Champions League earlier than planned.

After last season's matches, when Manchester United eliminated the Parisians, Neymar attacked the match referees on social media and later was punished with a three-match disqualification by UEFA.

This meant that the Brazilian had to miss the first three group stage matches this season, but after PSG's complaint, which was accepted by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), his punishment was reduced to a two-match disqualification.

Neymar will miss the matches against Real Madrid and Galatasaray, but will already be able to play against Club Brugge.
