The new Bundesliga season started by the "Bayern" team is not going as planned.
Currently, the Munich team is only in fourth place, though not significantly behind the top three.
On November 10, "Bayern" will face the current leaders from Dortmund, and local press has been stirring up passions since mid-October.
"First of all, we must win our matches to prevent 'Borussia' from pulling away - that's our goal at the moment.
"If we reduce the gap with our current opponents, it will only get better," said Bayern coach Niko Kovac.
"Dortmund's club currently looks very good. Not only in terms of results, but also in the way they play."
The Croatian coach denied trying to poach important "Borussia" players during the upcoming winter transfer window:
"Our squad is certainly strong, of course, at the moment two players are recovering from injuries. So, we will continue to work and want these players to bring success.
"We cannot predict what will happen after the New Year - anything is possible. There are many good players in the world."
