Norway at home failed to beat Latvia, while Turkey at home easily dealt with Gibraltar and before the last round the chances of the Scandinavian country teams became very slim. Norway played 0:0 at home against Latvia. Norwegians in this match, of course, had to do without Erling Haaland who is injured, but all other strongest players helped, such as Martin Odegaard, Alexander Sorloth, Mohamed Elyounoussi, Joshua King, and others. Turkey at home left no hope for Gibraltar. The Turks triumphed 6:0 after a red card received by Gibraltar defender Jayce Mascarenhas-Oliveiro in the 22nd minute. After these matches, Norway's chances of at least second place in Group G are quite poor. In the final round, Norwegians will face the Netherlands, while the Turks will travel to Montenegro.
