Norwegians banned their fans from annoying the Russian national team with gay flag

Norwegian football fans are forbidden to bring a rainbow flag to the friendly match with the Russian team, which will take place on May 31st. This decision is motivated by the fact that the rainbow flag of the homosexual movement offends Russians.

It is reported that a group of activists advocating for equal rights for sexual minorities informed on their intention to raise a rainbow flag during the match on the social network "Facebook."

According to them, this action is in no way political, it is a "desire to show that football is a game for everyone," writes newsru.com.

The Norwegian Football Federation spoke out against the planned action and instructed the police to inform the group of activists about it.

"They called us and said that only Russian and Norwegian flags should be in the stands during the match. If we unfold the rainbow flag, we will have to leave the stadium," said one of the initiators of the action.
