On Sunday, one English Premier League match was played.
Norwich City footballers defeated Sunderland with a minimal margin and delighted their fans with their fourth victory in the country's championship.
The hosts were led to the front in the 8th minute by Sebastien Bassong, and towards the end of the first half, Anthony Pilkington doubled the lead. Craig Gardner softened the difference at the end of the first half, but in the second half, the visitors could not secure any points.
After these matches, the "Canaries" rose to the 12th place in the tournament table.
