Ousmane Dembele is not afraid to take responsibility in the Barcelona team, with which he aims for the highest goals.
The 21-year-old footballer started the season excellently and led Barça to several important victories, but recently he has faced health issues again and must return to his best form.
"At the beginning of the season, I scored winning goals. In November, I had a period when I was on the bench, but it's normal because the season is long and challenging," O. Dembele said.
"Nevertheless, I never lose faith in myself, always try to do what I do best and be important for the team when needed the most.
I always want to score in pivotal moments. I have to be calm even when the team is playing well," the Frenchman continued.
Talking about the season's goals, O. Dembele stated: "We want to triumph in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League."
On Tuesday, Barcelona will face Lyon in the Champions League, a team that O. Dembele remembers well from the beginning of his career.
"They have excellent players. Winning at their stadium is not easy, as they have already shown this season by defeating clubs like Man City and PSG. We will have to be focused because it will definitely not be easy."
