Ousmane Dembele, who did not receive enough attention from other clubs, will most likely remain playing for Barcelona. Journalist Fernando Polo reports that Barcelona and O. Dembele have reached an agreement on the basic terms of a new contract. The new contract will be signed until 2024 and will have a 40% lower salary than before - with a similar wage to the one earned by the young team talent Ansu Fati, says F. Polo. Approval from the club's sporting director Mateu Alemany is still needed. This summer, O. Dembele was interested in Chelsea, Bayern, and PSG, but did not take the decisive step and did not come close to the conditions set by the French.
