O. Dembele wants to extend contract with "Barca" © JumpStory

The saga of Ousmane Dembele and Barcelona club continues. Just recently, Barcelona's director Mateu Alemany publicly announced that the Frenchman will be sold by January 31, as he did not agree to the proposed contract extension terms. However, getting rid of the 24-year-old Frenchman will not be so easy for the Catalans. According to Sky Sports, the player's representatives once again met with Barcelona's executives and stated that O. Dembele wants to stay with the team at least until the end of the season, and is also willing to extend his contract if the club agrees to certain conditions. However, it seems that the meeting did not yield tangible results and the leaders of the Catalan club are sticking to the same position. It is worth noting that the current Frenchman's contract expires after this season, and Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are already interested in the player's services.
