O. Dembele's "bomba" brought Supercup trophies to "Barcelona" team (VIDEO)

At 23:00 Lithuanian time, the 2018 Spanish Super Cup clash took place in Morocco. The fight for the first season trophy was fought by two last season's Copa del Rey finalists - "Barcelona" and "Sevilla". After a hectic battle, Ousmane Dembele sparked the Super Cup winner's name back in the hands of Ernesto Valverde's pupils. From the very beginning of the match, it felt like the local Moroccans had a clear favorite - the name of "Barcelona" could be heard in the stadium, so the Catalans felt at home playing. However, in the beginning of the match, "Barca" did not bring their A game - in the 9th minute "Sevilla" unexpectedly took the lead, when after a great pass from Luis Muriel, Pablo Sarabia blasted the ball into the opponents' net. After the missed goal, the Catalans tried to get back into the game and immediately pressed their opponents. The equalizing goal came at the end of the half - after Lionel Messi's penalty hit the post, then bounced to Gerardo Pique's feet and he restored balance with a precise shot. In the second half, "Barca" dominated, but "Sevilla" did not give up easily. The pace of the game was high and the players gave a lot of energy. In the 78th minute, the stadium in Tangier plunged into euphoria - Ousmane Dembele launched a true "bomb" into "Sevilla's" net from about 25 meters. Until that moment, the Andalusian goalkeeper, who had almost saved everything until then, was powerless against the Frenchman's shot. "Sevilla" could have extended the match into extra time at the very end of the game, when Marcas-Andre ter Stegen, though very controversially, earned a penalty kick in front of his goal. Taking the decisive shot, Wissam Ben Yedder disappointed the "Sevilla" fans - his shot was very weak and Ter Stegen corrected his mistake. "Barcelona" achieved victory with a score of 2:1 and after a two-year hiatus, regained the trophy into their hands. Result: "Barcelona" 2 - 1 "Sevilla" 9' [0 - 1] P. Sarabia 42' [1 - 1] G.
