O. G. Solskjaer after the victory against "Chelsea": "We played fantastically"

"Manchester United" on Monday eliminated London's "Chelsea" team from the FA Cup, which last season beat the "Red Devils" in the final and raised trophies high.

After this victory, "Man Utd" manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was pleased with the team's performance and justified tactical decisions. The Norwegian also praised Chris Smalling's good performance.

"We played fantastically, and our tactical decisions were completely justified. Obviously, we wanted Pogba and Herrera to play higher than Matic and to be more often in the penalty area, while Lukaku and Rashford played slightly more on the flanks.

We worked on that, and in the second half, we defended fantastically, as we needed to.

Chris didn't play for two months, but in these matches, he was fantastic," O. G. Solskjaer said after the match.

"Man Utd" coach also admitted that it would be great to fight for the FA Cup this season.

"Of course, the Premier League will be very important to us, but it would be great to compete for trophies. The FA Cup is one of the best trophies you can win.

We want to finish the season powerfully," the interim team coach said firmly.

"Manchester United" awaits another match in the FA Cup quarter-finals against the "Wolves" team.
