O. G. Solskjaer does not expect to compete for the "Premier" league trophy next season

Experiencing yet another tough season, the "Manchester United" team is set to once again be without titles, and a lot of changes should await the team in the summer.

In the middle of the season, the team's helm taken over by Norwegian Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, following a humiliating defeat to the "Everton" team, stated that he is ready to bring back glory to the club, but some players will not be a part of it.

However, the Norwegian said before Sunday's match with "Huddersfield" that he does not expect to compete for the "Premier" league trophy next season.

"It is impossible to erase that 27-point gap to the leading teams in just one season. In the league, there are teams like "Leicester", "Everton", "Watford", maybe even "Newcastle", who will try to surpass us next season. We need to ensure that we are the team that will surpass the teams currently above us.

Our goal will be to get closer to the teams above us so that we don't have to look back at the teams chasing us. There are many great teams in the "Premier" league that want our place in the top four," Solskjaer said.

The "Man Utd" team theoretically still has a chance to break into the top four this season. The "Red Devils" have matches left against the "Huddersfield" and "Cardiff" teams this season.
