Paul Pogba's future continues to hang in the balance. The Frenchman still has a one-year contract with Manchester United, but it is unclear whether he will remain in Manchester until the end of the transfer window.
At a press conference, "Man Utd" strategist Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was asked about this issue. The Norwegian spoke about Pogba and the rumors: "He is a 'Man Utd' player with one year left on his contract. Every conversation with him is positive. He understands what we want. With Paul, it will always be like this, he is a media magnet." Solskjaer was also asked about R. Varane, who has not yet been introduced: "He has not trained with us yet. Things happen, but they also take time to happen. Unfortunately, with isolation matters, everything got delayed, which is a hindrance. The transfer is not 100 percent finalized yet. Everything has been delayed because of quarantine, of course, but now he is already in Manchester. Everything will be sorted out in the near future."
About the possibility of J. Sancho playing against "Leeds" before the end of the transfer window, the Norwegian said: "Jadon should play. He had a good week. However, last week he was sick and had to miss a few training sessions. Therefore, I cannot say whether he will be able to start the match from the beginning this weekend." Regarding the possibility of A. Martial leaving before the end of the transfer window, Solskjaer responded: "I wouldn't be surprised if other teams wanted to acquire Anthony, as he is a very good player and has returned determined to prove his worth. You can see how hard he is trying, he likes this challenge. We are happy that he is with us."
