O. G. Solskjaer: "We lost to a better team"

"Manchester United" on Wednesday at home lost 0:2 to "Manchester City" team and suffered their third consecutive defeat in all competitions.

"Red Devils" manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer expressed his joy after the match, saying that the players reacted to the shameful defeat to "Everton" in the previous round, but admitted that "City" is currently a team of a higher level.

"We showed a reaction after Sunday, but lost to a better team. Fans and players responded properly and put in a lot of effort. Although we didn't hit the goal area many times, we put in a lot of work. That wasn't enough.

These teams currently differ in terms of quality. That's why "City" is at the top of the table, and we are where we are.

They are currently setting the standards. Being from the same city, we can't be satisfied with that. It's all up to us whether we can get closer to "City" and surpass them," - O. G. Solskjaer said in an interview with "Sky Sports" after the match.
