O. G. Solskjaer: "We Need Reinforcement"

"Manchester United" on Wednesday at home received a painful blow from the "Burnley" team, which achieved victory at "Old Trafford" stadium for the first time since 1962.

After the match, "Red Devils" strategist Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted that his players did not play well enough, but had no complaints about the dedication of the footballers.

"We didn't play well enough. The opponents simply took advantage of their chances, and we wasted our own.

It was a disappointing match. Lately, we have looked good enough in these types of matches and dominated against opponents. Today we couldn't score the first goal, and that dented our confidence in our abilities.

Playing against "Burnley" is always difficult. My footballers are disappointed, but in the end, they gave everything again," spoke O. G. Solskjaer after the match.

"Man Utd" also openly admitted that the club needs reinforcement in January.

"I am responsible only for what happens on the pitch. Obviously, we need reinforcement and we are looking for it.

During the summer, we let some players leave because we wanted to renew, and they were not in my plans. We understand that we need high-level players.

We are working towards that and looking for new players. I hope some of them will arrive here by the end of the transfer window.

I cannot complain about my players because on the field, they give everything, but some of them just play too many matches," added the Norwegian.
