Olivier Giroud broke his goalscoring drought in the French national team and finally moved up in the list of top scorers.
The 31-year-old striker scored a decisive goal in the UEFA Nations League match against the Netherlands on Sunday. Giroud found the back of the net for the first time in 10 matches.
Before the game against the Dutch, Giroud had 31 goals while representing the French national team. With this goal, he surpassed the legendary Zinedine Zidane, who was in fourth place.
The striker, with 32 goals, could soon catch up to David Trezeguet, who is in third place with 34 goals. Michel Platini is in second place with 41 goals, while Thierry Henry comfortably holds the first place with 51 goals.
