The Munich club "Bayern" will have a new chairman from 2022 due to changes.
Bavaria's team will also elect a new president in the autumn of this year, as Uli Hoeness has decided not to run for this position anymore. It has now been officially announced that the legendary player of the club, Oliver Kahn, will join the management.
Oliver Kahn will become one of the club's directors from January next year, and from 2022 he will officially take over the duties of Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
The legendary goalkeeper with Bayern will have a five-year contract.
At the age of 50 this summer, Oliver Kahn is a true legend of Bayern. He has played 632 matches here and won 22 titles.
Oliver Kahn has been appointed chief executive of FC Bayern Munich AG from 2022.
