O. S. Solskjaer: "Painful results, not criticism"

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted that recent results for "United" in the Premier League were "painful", but critics' remarks and angry people's replies "were not worth paying attention to". "It was a good week," said the "Man United" manager after a 3-1 win away against the "Norwich" team. Last Sunday, "Man United" played a 1-1 draw at home with the Premier League leaders "Liverpool". On Thursday, in a European League match, they won 1-0 away against Belgrade's "Partizan", and yesterday they triumphed against Norwich. "Everything started with a good performance against Liverpool. Then we won twice away which will give the players confidence and speed," said O. G. Solskjaer. "The Red Devils" could have had a much bigger advantage. However, they missed several good opportunities, and Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul managed to save two penalty kicks. When asked by journalists if criticism hurt him, O. G. Solskjaer replied, "What hurt me were the results, not the criticism. I don't know what was said about me. I don't care - everyone has their own opinion and I don't need to comment on it. I really don't feel offended by someone saying something negative about me." This victory lifted "Man United" to 7th place, but "Sheffield United", "Bournemouth" and "West Ham United" also have 13 points. The next match for the Manchester club will also be away against "Bournemouth".
