London's "West Ham United" club closed their transfer window.
The latest addition to the team is experienced 33-year-old right-back Alvaro Arbeloa. This summer, his contract with Madrid's "Real" ended, so "West Ham" strengthened their squad by signing him as a free agent.
With two-time UEFA Champions League winner, "West Ham" signed a one-year contract.
For the past seven seasons, A. Arbeloa wore the jersey of Madrid's "Real" team. The defender played 233 matches and scored six goals for the Spanish vice champions.
A. Arbeloa is well known in the "Premier" league. From 2007 to 2009, the Spaniard played for the "Liverpool" club.
